Hope & Heroes embraces a comprehensive approach to advancing pediatric cancer medicine at our partner institutions. We support healthcare providers in bringing state-of-the-art research-driven care to pediatric cancer patients while underwriting innovative programs and services that improve the quality of life for the entire family throughout their cancer journey.
A cancer journey is always filled with fear and uncertainty and nowhere is this truer than when the diagnosis is given for a child. In the first days, parents are understandably consumed with finding the very best care for their child even as they grapple with rearranging their lives to deal with the complex challenges that lie ahead.
The good news is Hope & Heroes is here for patient families every step of the way from diagnosis through treatment and beyond.
We support teams of expert physicians, nurses, researchers, and healthcare providers as they determine the right course of treatment with the surest chances of success.
With a treatment plan in place, Hope & Heroes also underwrites a multifaceted, comprehensive approach that encompasses both the physical and emotional well-being of the child and their family. The programs we fund include integrative therapies, psychosocial and educational programs, and survivorship services which support the wellness of the entire family even as they help ensure a patient child experiences as much of their childhood as possible.
